Mike Slagle is a new PCP from Salem. Born in Salem, he is a 7th-generation Oregonian. He burst into the political arena in 2020 as a candidate for the Salem-Keizer School Board. He garnered 20,142 votes, but lost by 0.6%. Thankful for the support extended to him by Marion County Republicans, he continued to attend Central Committee meetings because he wanted to stay involved and keep the Republicans strong for our county. After all, there are two more generations of his still in Salem. He was elected a PCP in May for Precinct 322. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he is willing to fight for the Bill of Rights and all human rights protected by the Declaration and Constitution against government tyranny and Leftist slavery.
