
Calling all PCPs elected 19 May 2020!! The first opportunity to exercise the authority you earned by being elected to the office of Precinct Committee Person this last 19 May arrives soon on Saturday, 20 June. Participation at this convention is by invitation only: Your Certificate of Election from the Marion County Clerk's office is that key to the kingdom.
Because of the unique set of circumstances we have been facing since 8 March, no venue is available for a physical, in-person meeting. This convention will be online using ZOOM web conferencing and other tools to facilitate vote tallies and managing credentials. The Republican National Committee has assured all states finding it necessary to utilize these tools that delegations will not face challenges to be seated in August for the National Convention.
The quadrennial State Convention will convene at 9:00 AM on 20 Saturday, 20 June. All PCPs who have by now received their certificate of election from Marion County Clerk Bill Burgess are eligible to participate. Registration is $25. Registration closes at 5:00 PM, Friday, 19 June. You must register online since there is no physical facility to accommodate signing in. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to the address you provide in your registration as well as an e-mail containing the link and authentication instructions prior to the start of the meeting.
