THANK YOU FOR STANDING UP! THANK YOU for engaging and standing up with us this year for conservative values in our community. Whoever owns the narrative owns the world! It is our mandate to be salt and light, standing up for truth in a way that heals and restores our community. Right now the Left owns all of the "commanding heights" of influence in the cultural battle; the unions are in control of everything, the teachers colleges, the government, the media, the money, the message! It seems hopeless and most of us want to give up in the face of such overwhelming odds. Especially when their mode of operation is to shame and bully anyone who dares to raise a question. However, Pete Hegseth, who wrote the book, The Battle for the American Mind, notes that although it appears that the Post-Modern Progressives own the culture, the "Paideia", or deep seated cultural values that we pass on to children, can be intentionally influenced over time. We can own the culture again if we are tactical about the battle. We must not roll over! We will not give up fighting for excellence and conservative values because they work! At SK We Stand, our emphasis is on returning public education to a place of excellence that puts kids first. We want to replace identity politics and social activism with critical thinking, personal determination, and objective truth. Although these concerns are world wide, our focus at We Stand is here on our local community. Instead of raised fists we strive to engage firmly, but respectfully with linked arms, believing that together we can be a powerful force raising up the next generation and guiding our culture. Remember the force of the ocean against the shoreline? It is the persistent lapping of the water against the rock that changes its shape. Just like that water, we need to take opportunities every day to speak truth to our friends, neighbors, and family members. We need to speak up when things don't make sense or when we notice the misuse of vocabulary to hide what is really going on. We need to be present in our families to help guide their perspective about the world, life, problems, people. BE INFLUENTIAL! Our community needs your voice!
