Appointed in 2019, Rep. Moore-Green won her first election relatively handily, garnering 54.5% of the vote over her Democrat opponent. She has a lengthy record of public activity. Operating her own business, she has been a member of Salem Chamber of Commerce, serving as its Government Day coordinator and First Citizen Event coordinator. She has been a board member of the Salem City Club and a member of SEDCOR. She has served on the City of Salem's budget committee since 2013 as a citizen member representing Ward 3.
For the 81st Legislative Assembly Rep. Moore-Green will have a decidedly medical focus. She continue to serve on the House Committee on Health Care, its Subommittee on CoViD-19 (to which she was appointed in 2020), and the House Committee on Behavioral Health, promoted to Vice-Chair on the latter. She has been swapped from the House Committee on Judiciary to three other committees: the Joint Committee and the House Committee on Conduct and the House Committee on Energy & Environment.
