Become a PCP

Would you like to have your party Defend Constitutional Principles?

Would you like to have your party reflect your values?

Would you like your party to restore America to her former greatness?

HERE is how you can do something about it. This is not about campaigning — that's a completely different topic. This is about "party governance" and what and how you can influence it and why it is important.

These will explain why YOU need to become an elected Precinct Committee Person!!

Act to protect your values

  • Run for office —

PCPs are elected Party officials. Republican voters cast their ballots every May in even-numbered years at the same time they select their candidates for the state legislature.
    • Like any other candidate, PCPs must submit a form to the county clerk declaring their intent to seek office. Filing for the next election opens on 1 February 2022. to be on the May 2022 ballot. A link to the 2022 form will be found here once it is updated.
    • The filing deadline is Tuesday, 8 March 2022 at 5pm.
  • Request appointment to office —

In the interim, if you qualify and there is an opening in your precinct or one within the Marion County portion of your Oregon House district, you can be appointed at our next Central Committee Meeting.
