Marion County Republicans supports Dr. Angela Plowhead, a Salem psychologist, in her quest to be Oregon's first Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Congressional District (CD) 6. As currently configured, the new district takes in all of Yamhill and Polk counties and the portions of Marion, Clackamas, and southeastern  Washington counties that lie along I-5.
