MCRCC Weekly Wrap — February 6, 2014

It's FEBRUARY all ready! And, it looks as though snow will grace our lovely area. Stay Safe. The "short legislative session" has begun in Salem. Look for opportunities to testify or show up at hearings on our Facebook page.

The Democrats seem to want to overload the system, as usual.

There is still time for friends and neighbors to become PCP’s, just get a SEL105 form to them. Bring the forms to a meeting by Feb 28th or email [email protected], or call 503.580.3912. Oh, when returning the form to us, don't fill out the PRECINCT number, adjacent precincts, and number of residents, the party will fill that in.

Anyone out there who would like to run for the Ward 2 Salem City Council position? We have no candidate at this time. The Ward is in central Salem. The deadline to file for the position is February 28th.

Here is a brief Calendar of Events for the next month:

TONIGHT! Feb 6…South Salem Regional County Meet up (MCGOP) 7pm. Scottish Rite Center. Our Executive Committee is out recruiting people for PCPs and other support.

UPDATE: Due to inclement weather and rather lousy road conditions, we had to cancel the meeting. We hope to reschedule it before the end of the month.

Feb 7…Salem 912 General Meeting with DAVID CROWE, founder of Restore America (Scottish Rite Center)

Feb. 15th…Rafael Cruz (Ted Cruz father) in Portland for Multnomah County GOP. 6:30pm - 9:30pm Call (503) 901-5635 for info or visit their website.

Feb 22/23…Gun Show (Volunteers needed) Oregon State Fairgrounds, begins at 9am, Saturday.

And it's not too early to mark your calendar for:

April 24…Central Committee Meeting….where all MCGOP PCPs gather to plan, learn, motivate. People’s Church, 6:30 pm, Social hour and 7pm meeting.

Make it a GREAT MONTH!!! Change is coming!
