MCRCC Weekly Wrap — December 19, 2013

The past week was a busy one for Marion County Republicans. On Thursday, December 12th, members of the leadership team met with folks at the Stayton Public Library. It was a great opportunity to chat with community members from Stayton, Sublimity and the surrounding areas about what the MCGOP is up to and how they can get more involved.

Chairman David Darnell was guest speaker at the Salem 9-12 general meeting on Friday the 13th. David shared information with over 100 guests who were interested in learning about becoming a Precinct Committee Person, or PCP.

As we eagerly await the arrival of Christmas next week and we turn our eyes toward 2014, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

Somehow, not only for Christmas, but all the long year through, the joy that you give to others, is the joy that comes back to you. And the more you spend in blessing, the poor and lonely and sad, the more of your heart's possessing, returns to you glad.
John Greenleaf Whittier

Be sure to follow MCGOP on Twitter @marioncogop, join us on Facebook, and check us out on the web at www.marioncountygop.org. We have made some exciting changes to our website so be sure to spend a moment exploring all of the resources and information available to you.

Please mark your calendars for January 16th and join other Marion County Republicans for our Winter Central Committee Meeting. There will be a separate PCP training event prior from 6-6:45pm at The People's Church.

Remember: “3 for 4”3 PCPs ask 3 people to contribute $4 per month to the MCGOP. Those 3 people then ask 3 more and, well, you see where this is going. For the cost of one coffee drink each month, you can make a direct impact on local elections and build a strong grassroots team here in Marion County.
