Whether you were elected for the first time last month or were re-elected for the umpteenth time, you need to circle this Saturday, 13 June, on your calendar. A perennial question heard (and perhaps even occasionally spoken) by Central Committee members who have hung around a while is, "Just what is it, other than attend a meeting once in a while, that I am supposed to do?" In one of two three-hour sessions this Saturday, we are confident you will receive and understand all the answers to that question.
The morning and afternoon sessions will cover the same material. The sessions will be punctuated by breaks as we complete covering the topics. This will allow you to focus in on those topics of greatest interest to you at your pace. Come for an hour in the morning, leave at the break, and return in the afternoon to pick up the rest. We have designed the training with flexibility in mind. Barring the possibility of missing out on that once-in-a-lifetime exchange, you'll still get to take in all the great material to make you the best PCP you can be.
Jessica Snook, MCR Precincts Coordinator, will be the principal instructor. We encourage you to get familiar with our PCP Manual, which will be referenced throughout the training. We will make digital copies of the illustrative slides and supplemental materials available after the class.
Here's the class plan:
