The Republican Party of Marion County Oregon is one of thirty-six county affiliates of the Oregon Republican Party, which, in turn, is one of fifty state affiliates of the Republican National Committee. The official organ of the party is the Marion County Republican Central Committee (MCRCC), comprised of Precinct Committee Persons (PCP) who have been either elected by voters who have chosen to identify themselves as Republicans when registering to vote or appointed by the Central Committee. Upon appointment, these PCPs have all the rights and privileges of their elected counterparts except that of participating in the biennial organizational meeting that follows upon the general election every November of even-numbered years.
The elected executive officers of the MCRCC include the Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and six Delegates to the State Central Committee of the Oregon Republican Party. These officers serve a term of two years. Along with the six delegates, the chair and vice-chair represent the county on the state Central Committee.
